She took note of the way their hands intertwined each other in a supposedly never-ending embrace. The warmth that the two radiated when closer together, not a feeling that even she could fully replicate with Yuwen, her best friend. The look in their eyes, the longing to be closer, despite being so close already.
Was that how she looked at Laurie? Was that the way Kai wanted to be able to look at Laurie freely? Did Kai want the warmth, the feelings, the embrace of being near with the girl in which was all supposed to be a dream and nothing more?

OR
Kai, after hiding away her feelings for so long, takes the chance and confesses to Laurie on Valentine's. Misunderstandings ensue, Yuwen, Taylor, and Rochelle all become wingmen, some definitely better than others, Kai is secretly a loser, and Laurie is openly slow as heck.
