The catgirl also lets out something that can only be described as a low yelp or whimper; even though Adora is worried, she has a hard time trying to ignore how seeing Catra like this affects her. Her heart raced and her belly danced, an irradiating feeling that spread throughout her entire body, starting between her legs; Catra was unbelievably hot right now, both literally and metaphorically speaking.

    “I want you so bad, it’s ridiculous.” Catra whispers and seems to regret it at the same moment the sentence leaves her lips, for her eyes widen and she tries to get away.

    Catra has been struggling more and more with nightmares as she has become increasingly isolated and mentally degraded. One night, screaming awake from yet another nightmare, Double Trouble is passing by and comes to check in on her. Scared, lonely, and hurting, Catra invites them into her room to keep her company for a while. From there, though, things turn more intense than either of them ever expected, both emotionally and physically.

    This is set right before the collapse of the Fright Zone and the fulfillment of Double Trouble's betrayal, to make those events in canon all the more bitter after the shared joy, intimacy, and connection within this fic. I wrote this before finishing my Season 4 rewatch and realizing how little time there actually was between Double Trouble's return and everything's collapse, so the timeline is slightly divergent from canon in that there's about a day between their return to the Fright Zone and then the collapse of it.

    Anyway, I live for making characters super happy just to make their suffering sting more (I'm sorry Catra and Double Trouble).

She needed to keep herself in check, this woman was just doing her job and being friendly and Adora was being a complete mess. She felt a little ashamed that she was ogling her but it wasn’t her fault this woman was so hot. Adora needed to get it together and be normal.

    “You’re ok, it's normal to be nervous. First time?” Catra asked as she raised one delicate eyebrow and Adora nodded her head to forgo speaking while she calmed herself down. “Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you. Come with me,”
