For the first time, Clive speaks. His voice is a broken rasp. “I don’t want it.”

Tipping his chin up, Cid says, “He only caught your attention because he’s a Shield. Were he and I in the same playing arena, I’d be able to lure you to my bed without question.”
“Is that so, little spark?” Clive sounds dark and deep, like he crawled out of a pit of hellfire. Cid loves it. “You think I fall for your charms that easily?”

He spins back, presenting himself to the mirror. Bows his head and peers between his spread legs, at the obscene fluttering of slick muscle dying to clench around something.
“I'm ready, Cid. Please fuck me.”

Ah… right. Clive shrugs, a little embarrassed, but also strangely pleased. Surprising Cid had always brought him a strange sense of joy in his time… perhaps it makes sense that this is ultimately no different. “That's just…”
His voice trails off as his eyes wander… and happen to notice Cid’s, uh, excitement.
