Fabian opens the lone fridge that he knows of and pulls out some leftovers. He sniffs them, decides that they’re passable, and sits down at the kitchen island to eat. He ends up only picking at the food, realizing he’s not as hungry as he thought he might be, and tosses the package into his newest trash pile after only a few bites. As he stands up from the stool, black spots suddenly fill his vision and he sways violently. His hands shoot out for purchase and find the island countertop, and he grips it as if his life depends on it. Fabian bends over the island counter, trying to make the world make sense, and the black spots swim in his vision. He feels sweat begin to gush from his temples, running down his face faster than any time before while dancing or out on the bloodrush field.
