Summary
This is a rewriting of my original story "The Rise", which I discontinued on Wattpad. I wasn't satisfied with how the story went, so I will reuse characters and story elements from that story. If you are interested in reading said work, feel free to check out "Ijaria_" on Wattpad.
Little did Sally know what he got himself into when he accepted to help the Elven royalty. His life took an intrigueing, yet dangerous turn that didn't just affect his and his friends' lives; It affected the fate of the planet itself. A war between rivaling races, family drama in the royal family, desperate cooperation between the Angels in Heaven and the Demons in the Underworld. All meticulously controlled and calculated by a puppeteer, who might as well be more dangerous than the five sleeping Titans. How did Sally contribute to a downward spiral of chaotic events, and how, if even, will they be resolved?

Eli and the woman are left staring at each other across the distance of the five stairs leading onto the porch. Eventually, he takes the first step and breaks the tableau. “I take it you already know who I am, since you requested to see me.”
“I do,” she says, and there’s a hint of breathless excitement to her voice. She presses a hand to her chest and inclines her head in a polite bow. “My name is Mitth’ali’astov. I was Sache’s caregiver aboard the Springhawk under Senior Captain Mitth’raw’nuruodo.”
He had been bracing himself for the revelation of how it all fit together, but the name strikes him harder than he thought. “You wanted to meet me at his funeral.”
The corners of her mouth twitch as she struggles to hold back her surge of emotions at the memory.

“It’s alright,” Mak'ro says, his cheek pressed to the top of her head. “You’re here, and I didn’t have to commandeer a shuttle to go to Ool to see you."
"I would have loved to see you on a civilian transport in your Commodore uniform,” she laughs.
