    Summary

O quizás no tanto.

    Summary

Molly stared at the wedding invitation in her hand. She rubbed the edges of the card absently as she studied the details. The names. The date. The venue. Slowly she lowered herself into the sofa and waited for the sheer joy to erupt. This was her wedding invitation after all. This was her moment of joy. This finally should have been the closure she had been looking for all along. And yet all she felt was mild guilt and shame.

    The final chapter is up!!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to pop by and say thank you. Your lovely comments and encouragement pushed me to finish this story. I initially debated on whether or not to include an epilogue. But after much deliberation, I have decided against it. My story arc was all about Sherlock and Molly fumbling their way through complicated emotions and sentiments. It was all about them coming together in the end and anything I write after that would be construed as redundant. So I'm going to leave it to the audience, you are now free to interpret it however you wish. Thank you again for coming along with me. I hope I get to chat with you again in the future!

    xx

    Summary

Molly and Sherlock have gone their separate ways post The Final Problem. Several months later they are forced to come together due to terrible circumstances. Things are not the same for either of them. Unresolved issues aside, they both now have something or rather someone else in common. Will Molly's secret destroy them or would it act as the catalyst that Molly and Sherlock so hopelessly need? The more desperately Molly tries to get out of the situation, the more she gets sucked back into it.

As Mycroft once said to Sherlock, "What do we say about coincidence?"

The universe is rarely so lazy.

Everything was his fault. If only he was cleverer. If only he didn't ignore the signs. Mummy was right, he was very limited. So he would do everything to make sure that all the people he cares about are safe, even if he ends up being painted as a villain.

My take on how Sherlock confronts Mycroft after TFP to make sure he's alright.

    Summary

    So.
The scene. The missing scene. The scene that needed to be seen.

    Or

How Sherlock Holmes explained to Molly Hooper that his actions had been the result of threats, lies and pathological terrorism.

How he wasn’t tormenting her for his own amusement or an experiment in human suffering.

How he knows she’s a reasonable, sensible, forgiving woman. She would understand that words ripped from a victim of violent threats and astonishing cruelty were invalid, void, redundant.

But Sherlock Holmes is deeply troubled, since he is perched rather horrifically upon the horns of another dilemma.

He cannot tell Molly Hooper that his words were redundant, since he now wants nothing more than for her to know of the love he has kept hidden for so very long.

His problem, you see, is not the explanation of his sister’s conduct, but rather the explanation of his own.

OR: my attempt to explain how she forgave him.

    So, hear me out.

    This may be controversial.

    But, on the other hand…

    It may be true.

Sherlock Holmes has always loved Molly Hooper.

    Always, always.

«I have a request, Sherlock – he said. His tone was serious, but you could hear a desperate and pleading vibration ringing through it. – But you must promise that you'll be honest with yourself. Are you willing to be just Sherlock for tonight? And I'll be just William. We won't be professor and detective, Lord of crime and Greatest detective. We'll be Sherlock and William, and nothing else».

    Summary

This is a group of interlinked short stories (most between 2000 and 7000 words) which tell the story of how Holmes and Watson really came to be separated at the Reichenbach Falls, and how they found each other again. Each story is in the form of a document--a letter, a journal, a surveillance report, an affidavit, etc.--which is linked to one or more ACD canon tales, and which tells us something about that story that was changed or suppressed in Watson's published account of it. Holmes/Watson, with glimpses of other relationships. Only one story ("The Boy in the Boat," which is f/f) is rated M. Everything else is T.

ACD canon stories that inspired "Missing Pages" include: The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Sign of Four, "The Final Problem," "The Empty House," "The Naval Treaty," "A Case of Identity," "The Greek Interpreter," "The Gloria Scott," "The Noble Bachelor," "The Copper Beeches," "The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax," "The Devil's Foot," "The Illustrious Client," and "A Case of Identity."

Many stories work as stand-alones. If you want the whole arc, just read them in the order in which they are posted. Either way you slice it, I hope you enjoy!

Still reeling from Sherlock's strange phone call and her home being under surveillance, Molly takes a hasty trip to sort herself out. Despite her best efforts, the world's greatest detective tracks her down.

How he does this doesn't matter, because of course he can...

Why he bothers to do so is the much more interesting question.
