“Go get my lantern back.” Macaque demanded, his eyes on the mirror above to look at the man in the back seat.“You heard the man.” Wukong agreed with a stiff smile on his face, untying the creepy smiley guy's ropes. Maybe he should've asked first but he had a feeling Macaque was expecting him to do that, it was like they had a silent communication with eachother. Or well, Wukong hoped he didn't imagine it.
The man only laughed incredulously, “You're not m'lady!” and just like that, he jumped out, breaking the car's window and falling off the highway.
Wukong gawked at the empty space where the man used to be in astonishment, taken aback by his dangerous decision. There was no way he was going to survive that fall, but then yet again he didn't seem like a normal human.
“You,” Wukong's eyes moved to glance at the direction of the voice, Macaque was addressing him now. “get my lantern.”
Or, Wukong made a mistake following the weird quiet kid from class and now he ended up in quite the predicament.

Base show description: LEGO Monkie Kid is a LEGO theme inspired by the journey of Monkey King in Journey to the West. It was licensed by the company introduced in May 2020. The toy line then got its own animated show, titled LEGO Monkie Kid: A Hero is Born, which premiered on May 29, 2020, in China. The show follows young teenager Monkie Kid (MK) and his friends as they battle various enemies to protect the town of Megaopolis. It aired for 5 seasons with 4 specials from 2020 to 2024.
The New Adventures story description: It's now 2025, and in the small town of Eastbrook, 20-year-old Will Eastbrook, mainly known for surviving the Eastbrook murders, has been trying to build a time watch to travel to the past, present, and future. Now, regarding the Imperial Court, there were only three noteworthy things they would tell you if you asked them for such information:
As the Chief of War, they spend more time trying to convince the Emperor not to go to war than to, well, go to war (a work in progress. They have yet to succeed in the art of persuasion).
One of the Emperor's advisors has, allegedly, done a 180 in personality. Everyone is (rightfully) afraid of her. Unfortunately for them, she seems quite hellbent on getting them to start a revolution, and somehow they are more afraid of saying no than the idea of being executed for being compliant to her ideas.
There is a new servant. Not only does he keep climbing on the horse stables instead of cleaning them, he has got quite the knack for distracting them from their duties. Unfortunately for them, he's quite charming, ergo, forgivable.
In other words, this is a soap opera about the Emperor’s Palace in the Sui Dynasty. Featuring yours truly, a perplexed Chief of War, the omitted advisor Ivory Lady, and the Six Eared Macaque who is only there for a jolly good time.
