“You got a pen?”
Tim blinked owlishly before scrambling to grab a pen from his book bag, as if terrified Jason would change his mind in the 6 seconds he took to search. He held it out to Jason who snatched it right out of his hands.
“If we do this, we’re doing it right. You got that, Richie?" Jason snarled. "When I sign this you’re my kid!”
“I don’t do things in half measures. I’m gonna be there for every PTA meeting, every club invite, every fucking carpool you understand? I don’t need some white bread, pearl clutching bitch telling me I’m a shitty Guardian just ‘cause I didn’t ask for this.”

The only thing worse than crawling out of your own grave to find your father had replaced you with the first black haired, blue eyed preteen he could find, is said replacement begging you to sign emergency foster papers... except maybe you signing said papers and having to learn how to be a parent on the fly... Fuck it, he couldn't do any worse than Bruce Wayne.

Summary
This is based off of Alex G's song, Harvey. The two are bonding... through trauma !!
Tim tried to live up to the legacy the older one had set, but to see that same man look like he would break down because of that mantle, startled him more than he was willing to admit.
Dick had noticed his unusually upset behavior. He had noticed so much wrong to the point he wondered if he knew what he was doing was unhealthy. It hurt him more than he wanted it to.

Summary
"Is everything quite alright, Master Tim? You've hardly touched your plate." Inquired Alfred, gazing at the boy remaining at the table in front of a full meal.
"I'm okay Alfred, I'm not very hungry. I'll save it for later, if that's okay." Tim pushed his chair away from the table, smiling apolegetically as he turned to retreat to his room.
Alfred's sharp eyes watched him go.

Summary
After a while, he lost count of how long he’d been here. He didn’t even know where here was. All he knew was her. It was always her.
He missed his parents. Realistically he knew he should hate them. After all, they are the reason he was put here in the first place. They are the reason he was stuck in this place with her.
“Honey, I’m home!!” She calls out, the sound of her swinging the door open, shutting it, then locking it with the jingle of hey keys.
He recognized her by voice, having heard the voice for years upon years by this point. He’s sure it’s been years.
As she rounds the corner, he immediately recognizes her dark brown hair, it’s about shoulder length now, maybe a bit longer. Her eyes are a dark brown as well, but a lot darker, nearly black, when he was younger he felt like if he looked at them for to long, they would pull him in. He always felt unsafe when they gazed upon him. Maybe it was the crazed look in her eyes when she saw him, but not him. He learned a while ago that he isn’t Timothy Drake to her.
Or, Tim Drake is sold by his parents at age ten, and four and a half years later people start realizing he’s gone.

Summary
Tim Drake indulges in his anorexic tendencies, and by sheer luck he doesn’t get caught or noticed.
Jason Todd gives way to his bigorexic thoughts, but he doesn’t need luck on his side when nobody else close to him knows about the condition’s existence.
Despite how isolating their illnesses can be, they have each other, even if their relationship can get quite toxic from time to time.

Summary
But Jason didn’t.
Instead, he sighed, pinched the bridge of his nose, and muttered something that sounded a lot like, you’ve got to be kidding me.
Then, to Tim’s absolute shock, Jason reached for the protein bar and tore off a piece.
And ate it.
Tim blinked. "What are you—"
"Eat with me," Jason said simply. "I know it sucks. But you’ve gotta eat, and if it makes it easier—" He held out another piece. "We do it together."
Tim hesitated.

Summary
Tim came home two weeks ago.
It wasn’t really a home he knew, but Bruce, being Bruce, had insisted on him recovering in the manor.
This had all apparently been decided somewhere between Tim dying three times and him miraculously waking up, alive, and with his brain functions fully intact. He moved into the manor as soon as the discharge papers were signed and filed away,
And with that, his brand new life began, one of being ceaselessly doted on by Alfred, Dick, and Bruce like some kind of sad, paraplegic puppy.
Or, Tim is released from the hospital and must now recover, both physically and mentally, after being attacked by the Red Hood. As one can imagine, it's a process™, and the Batfam are just trying their best to be supportive.

Summary
There are many things wrong with Tim, Tim knows that.
He’s annoying. He’s loud. He’s childish. He’s much too messy. He’s not precise enough. He stays awake for long stretches of time. He’s all around entirely unsatisfactory for the adults in his life
—
Tim returns to his emptyemptyempty apartment, locks his deadbolt and the four locks from the inside, goes for the lever in the fish-tank with the robotic fish, down to the secret ground floor, where he locks the door again, with eight locks. Obsessive? Yes. A possible sign of paranoia and/or OCD? Yes. Natural and normal for a vigilante? Yes .
The dread never really leaves anymore and that’s just part of being a hero. (He had it before even stepping a foot out in (pixie) boots, but he chooses to ignore that)
Or: Tim and his (losing) battle with anxiety, paranoia and control

SKELETON OR SUPERMODEL—THE SHOCKING DETAILS OF TIMOTHY WAYNE'S EATING DISORDER LEAKED
He doesn't know when it started, in all honesty, he can't remember a moment without it.
There must've been a time before, but Tim can't even imagine it. He's always been almost painfully aware of his own body and of those around him, constantly comparing and trying to measure up. He'd been born a bit early, underweight and pale-faced and he'd never did chub-up like most babies do. Janet had liked that. Jack hadn't cared.
Tim would weigh himself at random at first, all alone in his house, just to see. But the numbers are stuck in his brain, and even years later, they won't leave.

Summary
His picture gets taken again and again, for the news, for the paper, for blogs. It’s only years later, when Tim compares photos from his time as Robin to Damian, that he realizes how small he’d been, and his heart breaks a little. A skinny little boy, desperate for control in a life where nothing had been his to decide, and he’d chosen this. It’s not like Tim has stopped, he’s the smallest, the thinnest, of all the vigilantes in Gotham and he knows because Damian made them all measure up against the wall, just to assert dominance. He lords it over Tim’s head for a month before he stops rather abruptly, Tim has no clue why.
Through all the chaos in his life, the deaths and the grief and the re-animation, his food stays, tuna stays, salads stay. He’s in control over his own body, how he looks is up to him. He controls what he eats, because he can no longer control anything else.
or:
Tim can't control anything in his life, starting with parents and ending with the entire rest of his life. He can control his food though, and he likes that, needs that.Series

Disinfectant on his nightstand, a cutter below his pillow. No one ever asks why.
A half empty packet of cornflakes, cupboards empty. Twelve empty cups on his desk, no dishes. No one asks.
He calls himself out of school, forges his own doctors notes. Gets emails on his grade progression.
He hasn’t eaten fruit in two weeks. He knows, he has a calendar. He doesn’t want scurvy. He orders himself bananas and a few oranges and chokes them down.
Or:
Tim was fucked long before he became Robin, it just takes the others a while to care.
