But since he had never been the type to shy away from confrontation, he aggressively returned the stare while continuing to eat his soup, internally struggling not to choke on it. When he finally finished the bowl, his whole body felt hot and the nails of his left hand had dug deep into his skin. He felt something boiling in his stomach and he was not sure whether it was the soup or his rage. But since he was not about to show any weakness, he kept a straight face.
