Summary
The Trojan war lasts for ten years before Odysseus executes a bold and daring plan, that swiftly brings it to an end, and the Greeks leave Troy victorius. Leaving behind a large wooden horse.
In this version, the horse may have been bold, but the daring part of the plan came before that.aka: all of the events that lead to Odysseus making it home directly after the Trojan war

ALL: Things were different then.
POLYXENA: I tell you this not to elicit pity,
CLYTEMNESTRA: I don’t want your pity. I always looked up to Medea when I was a girl.
PENELOPE:I loved Arachne,
HELEN: I admired Psyche, though I was always more of a Pandora.
HECUBA: Why are you saying all this?
CASSANDRA: [Cutting in, looking directly at HECUBA] Because there’s a place in our stories for a woman who kills two children out of spite.
HECUBA: They were not my own.

因此我不得不顺从它;
但我也恨这命运,恨它让我去死,
这是凡人的天性,我不否认。

"No Achaean will ever be this boy’s master. Will he be forced to stay amongst the rubble of Troy? Worse, I fear. What can be worse than that? They are going to kill your son."
She lets out a rattling scream that seems to tear at her throat. She claws at the floor, like she's digging herself a grave.

Summary
After almost a decade, the end of the Trojan war is afoot. As the Trojan horse enters the city walls, danger and frenzy clouds the very air, tasted by citizens and soldiers alike.
Unbeknownst to the people of Troy, ruination is upon them. Their fate rests on the hands of three women. The prophetess, the queen, and the mother.
What will Cassandra do to be believed? How will Hecuba guide her people to safety? How will Andromache protect her son from the Greeks?
In other words, an alternate ending for these women and for Troy

Summary
"I was glad not to see a shore in the distance. The one I left was covered with a smoking ruin and the flailing bodies of wailing, ragged women. And I know the one I would land on held no happiness for me. I could already feel my captor’s warm blood covering me, feeling the quick wind as the axe descends upon me, its next sacrifice."
A one-shot of Cassandra considering her fate as she sails on Agamemnon's ship from Troy to Mycenae. She thinks of all that she's lost, how she will survive in her remaining days, and what awaits her across the sea.
Graphic depictions of SA, and also descriptions of sexual pleasure that take place in the context of being a slave so consent is not possible.

But wasn’t she a priestess? they had all asked. Didn’t she know? Hadn’t she read? Of all people, surely, she should have understood what Delphi told them all.
Cassandra knew herself. She had not acted in excess. There was a difference in desperation. In hope, in wanting, in calculations being spun into flimsy thread. She hadn’t known her flax was rotting. She hadn’t known her careful spinning and bloody fingers would all be for nothing.

Before Talthybius arrives to tell Andromache the unthinkable, she recounts all she's been through. Written as a poem and as a character study in college when I played Andromache in acting class. 10 years later, I actually played her in a full production and looking back on this helped me slide right back into her skin.
