He wants this apocalypse to end, he wants Will to be ok, and he wants these confusing feelings to sort themselves out.Will feels things he knows are wrong. He’s a freak by nature, this apocalypse is his fault anyway. He just wants his old life back, his family and friends, and he wants Mike to just talk to him.
The two boys are stuck in the middle of nowhere, Verna and other creatures constantly at their heels. But soon, this unrequited tension between the two teens, makes them question each other even more than before.
