This is inspired by the What-if comic of Secret Invasion, what if the Skrulls won. I saw that Aunt May had chose to convert into a Skrull and I thought it was a bit rushed.
This story is an expansion of her reasons why she would willing transform and it serves as a backstory of how she got here; much of this is inspired by body horror and horror writing with sex mixed in there for good measure.
"May Parker receives the most devastating news of her life, with only months left to live, she's offered by a mysterious group who will offer to cure her...for a price."
