Until he meets Julia; Nero's adoptive mother, whom he's only had for a few months since Vergil & Dante left Nero behind.
Julia, in Vergil's judgmental eyes, is perfection: beautiful, smart, wise, & powerful. Powerful enough to intimidate even him. What's more, she chooses him. Admires & flirts, reads him like a book, challenges without over-stepping, even understands his annoyance of Dante (a bonus).
Vergil's demonic side agrees as well. And while it watches this beautiful & powerful woman protect & love Nero as her own, it starts screaming at Vergil to do more than watch. It wants to claim. Vergil wants this women as much as he wanted absolute power. And it terrifies him.
Let's see if this golden ball of light & love can break through Vergil's cold demeanor & loneliness, even teach him a thing or two. About love & being father.

Evangeline was surprised by this man's height, and not to mention that she had never seen such striking beauty. She even wondered if this man was some kind of albino model. He possessed an unnatural beauty, and Evangeline swore she had never seen such a beautiful eye color. She thought they were the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen in her life.
