    “You’re dumpin’ a body in the bayou,” The man, Will, interrupted, his voice thick with the local cadence and accent. He glanced over Hannibal's shoulder at the bag.

    “I figure this is an irrelevant detail,” Hannibal purred, like a cat flicking its tail around, eyes shining. Will continued to stare, his arm not wavering from his target. Hannibal raised his chin, casting his gaze to the ground behind Will. Will’s eyes drifted to the bag still slung over Hannibal’s shoulder. “It’d be a shame to kill me with a gun.” Will brought his focus back to Hannibal. “Very impersonal, let alone intimate.”

    “You’ve done this before,” Will slowly let his arm fall to his side. “The offer still stand?”

Hannibal drove an hour and a half to model for money he did not need, for prey he didn’t have to make any effort to catch, in the end, it's for the performance of it all. He slipped into the role of Will’s boy, who looked him in the eyes when most people avoided him and the widespread radius of awkwardness he brought with him. That’s what Hannibal needs him to see.

    ...More like, Hannibal Lecter is a part-time model for a life drawing class when he isn't back at Hopkins, and Will Graham is the former detective that always clung too fast, too deeply.

    After four years of relative peace working as a professor at the FBI Academy Wilhelm Graham-Addams is convinced to work as a profiler agent of the FBI.
