Summary
Superheroes, villains, vigilantes – or to put them all in one category: deviants – dictate how the world spins. That’s the simple, harsh truth. Yet, when Joel’s only friend: Gem, gets invited to join the superhero force, he can’t help but feel betrayed. Worlds apart, they decide to live their lives however they want, regardless of right or wrong, with Gem becoming a superhero, and he remaining a vigilante.
Unlike Gem, Joel couldn’t care for the destruction of the world, but fate sure does love him. After a chance encounter with Grian, he’s suddenly pleaded to join The Agency. Meaning new friends, new dangers and new ways to act (that didn’t include causing chaos) being placed on his plate. And he would be fine with it, because he has Grian and Jimmy now.
Except behind the scenes, a new group of villains, The Watchers, rises and plans to destroy The Agency and everything it stands for, meaning if their plan succeeds, all superheroes will be eradicated once and for all.
It becomes Joel’s problem somehow.
