He’s stopped in his tracks by an exy racquet swinging down in front of him, close enough that he can hear the wind whistling through the strings.
He drags his gaze upward to find a man he doesn’t recognise grinning widely at him, eyes hard and cold. He keeps the racquet at Andrew’s feet, preventing him from moving. “Leaving so soon?” the man laughs, a cheery lilt in his voice that makes the back of Andrew’s neck prickle.

Summary
The world wasn't fair and it seemed to want to prove this to Andrew again and again by any means possible. His plan to break Aaron out of that slavery-business backfired drastically: he, a fucked up Omega, not only got sold to the mafia boss Nathan Wesninski as a birthday present to his son, but in order to fight his way back to Aaron, he'll have to tread lightly to not end in the crossfire of mafia war.
Neil somehow has survived another attemted murder by his father, but fighting back against his family will have many consequences that he alone won't be able to survive.
Neither Andrew nor Neil truly know how to trust, but a deal seems to be a good starting point to fight through this together.

“What are you planning on doing, Andrew?” Wymack asked him, discarding the piles of paperwork littering the desk and turning his full attention to the conversation at hand.
“Going away.” Andrew told him, lighting up a cigarette and wondering the same thing. He hadn’t figured all the details out but that could be rectified by spending a week in Columbia on his own searching for jobs and apartments. He had enough left in the bank from Tildas’ life insurance to secure a lease until he found work. The only question was where he was heading, he wasn’t interested in sticking around Columbia where he could run into his family.
“You only just got off the meds, have you thought this through?” Wymack asked, leaning back in his chair and scrubbing a hand over his thinning hair. “I know Exy has never been the endgame for you, but I thought you’d stick around for the degree.”
Andrew shrugged carelessly. A degree didn’t mean anything unless you had plans to use it and Andrew wasn’t that committed to his future. “Sorry, coach. Exy just isn’t what I needed it to be any longer."

A screech of brakes and a flash of navy blue were Neil's only clues to a car almost running straight into him.
Neil bit his tongue, suppressing the urge to hit the roof of the car and yell at the driver to watch where they were going, and instead just ducked his head and apologized for being in the way.
The passenger door flung open and a frazzled man with dark brown hair and a tattoo under his left eye—Neil couldn't make out what it was from this far away—got half-way out, throwing himself over the top of his door, gesturing to Neil as he spoke.
"Hey kid, do you drive?"
Neil stared at him for a moment, disbelief and annoyance coursing through him. Neil looked through the windshield at the driver, looking for some kind of explanation. Instead he found another man with an eyebrow piercing, and he had a smile plastered on his face like he was having the time of his life.
Neil looked back at the yelling man.
"Do. You. Drive?" He asked again, emphasizing every word.
Neil gestured to his car—the only other one in the parking lot—throwing his hands out widely. He clearly drove, but why did it matter?
The tattooed man smiled wickedly. "Good. Get in."
