Summary
A Whumptober fic (under the name runaway baby) on Tumblr.
“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice as soft as his features but loud in the quiet of the night. She’d never heard him speak before. “I- I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Zelda didn’t move, didn’t breathe, out of the fear that his kindness was a ploy and he would turn her over or kill her himself if she let her guard down. She’d made that mistake already and didn’t intend to do it again.
“I promise I won’t say anything,” he continued, stepping further into the clearing. He put the lantern down and slowly put his hands up. Even in the low light, she could tell they were shaking.
Cautiously, Zelda peeled herself from the tree and took a hesitant step forward. The boy offered an awkward, slightly dorky smile, and she gripped her skirt so tight her knuckles turned white.
“Are you stalking me?” she accused. The boy reeled back with wide eyes.Series

Summary
Dazai has never allowed himself to get his ass handed to him this badly. In fact, he would almost seem unnaturally put-together after each mission— with minimal injuries, no dirt, little sweat since he doesn’t exert any physical effort unless his suicidal fantasies depended on it.
Which made sense: He hated pain, thus avoided any relation to it.
At least Chuuya thought so.
Now he is faced with the ever-baffling dilemma of Dazai seeking pain. And beyond that, seeking it to protect Chuuya from it.
Did he land in the wrong universe?
OR: Dazai has a tendency to get captured as part of the plan, and this time, when he decides to rope Chuuya into it, things go a little off-kilter.

Frustrated and miserable, fully believing his older brother couldn't care less about him, he argues with Techno and storms out into the night. He hadn't even seen the car coming.
