“The Force is with us, Anakin. We’ll be fine. Trust me.” Obi-Wan says evenly after a few beats, removing his sleeve from his nose, forcing himself to ignore the huge, unhealthy patch of his blood that’s smeared all over the damp cloth.
“Seems like the Force is the only thing I can trust in these days.” Anakin mutters pointedly as he eyes the commlink, he utters it low enough for it to seem like he didn’t actually mean for it to be heard, but he also made it purposely clear for Obi-Wan to be hurt by it if he did hear it.
Oh Obi-Wan heard it, and he is hurt.
OR
During a mission a few weeks after the Rako Hardeen incident, Obi-Wan saves Anakin from a tank and falls off the edge of the terrain into the harsh seas below, Anakin jumps in after him, finding a cave that they could relocate to in the meantime. Throughout their time in the cave, both of them open up to each other about the whole situation, feelings and lots of crying (from both sides) ensue.
