(I swear I dunno much about Hawaii, I just picked this name because of Majima’s spinoff game (Lad Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii) and said to myself: hey wait, what if Majima hosted Total Drama? That’s gonna be funny and random. Forgive me.)

After Gordon escapes from Black Mesa East, by Combine raid. He walks for two hours in a long man-made cave path, which lead him to the seemly abandoned town of Ravenholm, as Alyx warns him about that place.
However… Alyx didn’t never believe or kind of told Gordon that most of town is cover in candy-like latex substance; which itself changes the environment; smells sweet; and instead of zombies, we hundreds of humanoid beings that resemble superbly deformed big-size cartoony anthro-animals based on advertisements, all wearing generic-yet occult-based robes or worn out citizen clothing.
He must now find way to leave this place, with potential company to make Gordon less lonely.

A diary.
A leatherback diary, filled with about one hundred pages of the writings of a Combine worker. It lays on a bare mattress, that which is flat, stained and barren. There are two pillows at the top of the bed, with both of them appearing to have been stuffed full of some kind of hay.
The wooden frame, that which appears to be worn and scratched from years of use, is holding out through the skin of its bare carapace. The apartment appears to hold paper thin walls, with wrappers for desiccated sustenance bars having been sprawled throughout the floors. The carpet is matted. There are the bodies of rats sprawled all throughout.
Yet. . . the diary almost seems to draw you in. It seems to remind you of a grimdark you had once read, with the thought of it slipping your mind by the tips of your fingers.
Even still, you pick it up, and flip to the first page. Your eyes scan upon the writings of a man long gone.
