And then he was resurrected. But that doesn't mean that The Death has left him.
(After all, The Death isn't known for abandoning their crows, especially when their crows need them.)

Summary
Jason’s dead. Jason has been dead for almost a decade and the hallucinations only fully went away a couple years ago, so why does it look like Dick’s not-so-little brother is standing there looking very much alive?
In which Jason Todd went on a monster hunting trip with Roy and co. instead of a revenge tour, learned some magic, wound up mystically connected to a wandering library filled with enchanted books (thanks, Constantine), and got married to a cunning woman and started a family.
Now that Dick knows that Jason’s not nearly as dead as once thought, Jason agrees with his wife Imogen that it seems as good a time as any to move the library to Gotham for a while. Jason wasn’t planning on actually reconnecting yet, but he knows the bats won’t leave him alone now that they suspect the truth. He’s worked with them enough times in secret as magic-sword-and-gun wielding Red Hood to know how stubborn they all are.
Bruce faces a whirlwind of emotions: his son is alive, he’s a librarian/mage/assassin, he has a wife and an almost two-year-old daughter, and Constantine and Zatanna are basically now his in-laws.

After all these years living together and working together (and being raised by the man he now considers his father) Dick knew that Bruce was pushing him away. “Dick Grayson.” The voice was barely more than a whisper, but it kept catching him off guard. He would be almost asleep, so close to letting himself relax just enough to collapse into any semblance of rest, and then he would hear it. After checking for any sort of device that could be stowed away in his apartment and half-way destroying each room looking for someone hiding, he gave up on trying to find the source.
After three days, he had turned off his phone. He thought that it would be better to just turn it off than smash it when the next person tried to call him.

Dick is a psychic, a pretty powerful one, but they can't say they take much pride in their "gift." Fat good it does them, though, if they can't even figure out why so many prostitutes in Blüdhaven are being found dead in alleyways. They end up on the radar of Ra's a Ghul, a man who has long been eager to get his hands on abilities such as Dick's, or at least that's what their dead brother tells them. At first they can't say they believe him, considering they aren't quite sure he isn't just a hallucination. Though, Jason never looked grown up like this before, and he definitely hasn't been able to physically touch them, that's for sure. The two are forced on the run as they dodge assassins, bounty hunters, and the law, learning far more about each other along the way than they ever intended to. -

The door to the warehouse creaks open, spilling in a silver of yellow light. His captor finally makes an appearance. The figure that steps inside is broad-shouldered, wrapped in leather and kevlar, a red helmet gleaming dully in the dark.
Red Hood.
Dick’s stomach twists. Great. Of fucking course it’s Gotham’s newest crime lord wannabe. The one who’s getting on Batman’s nerves lately and mowing down the underworld with guns and severed heads like he’s trying to win a competition.
“Company’s here,” Jason sing-songs from his crate, kicking his dangling leg. His kneecap dangles grotesquely, but the grin on his face is all kid-brother mischief. “Don't have too much fun while I’m gone, big brother!”
The kid is gone before Dick can blink.
Or
Dick gets kidnapped by Red Hood except… there's a twist to it.
