The kid disappears into the night. Tim is still reeling from the sound of the kid’s shoulder snapping, and of course, the blood slowly trickling from his nose. He sighs, feeling just slightly embarrassed that a small vigilante who is barely 5 feet tall managed to best him.
“Crow,” he mutters aloud, blinking at the night sky like it has personally offended him. “Seriously?” He presses a gloved hand to his nose, winces, and mutters, “Of course he picked a dramatic bird name.” Then he sits up, slowly, groaning as he rolls his shoulder. “B,” he says, and then clears his throat again. He’s not winded—he’s not—but he is mildly humbled. “…I found a new kid for you to adopt.” There’s a pause. Then, through the comms, comes the quiet sound of Bruce sighing.
