Upon Chris's request, his sister Claire, transfers over as a junior detective and begins working alongside Leon. Almost immediately, their personalities cause them to be at each others throats and constantly butting heads. Claire sees Leon as a hard ass and is frustrated that he seems to treat her as a rookie detective. Rose suddenly returns to her hometown (along with a few new friends) after 2 years of being missing. Her boyfriend is beyond ecstatic - though it doesn't last long after he finds he's been replaced - Kylee and Fina are glad to have their closest friend back, and everyone seems happy to see Rose again. Rose, however, finds a lot has changed and struggles to keep her new friends safe while adjusting herself back into her old life.

Summary
Nexus has finally gotten a shard and has used it to erase all Solar's memories ever since he was brought back. After realizing that, yes, he still cares about the eclipse, he tricks Solar into thinking that the celestial family has been doing a lot of bad and that Nexus is actually the victim of this story. The two go on to work together, getting as close, if not closer, then they were before Solar died.
Sun, Moon, Lunar, Earth, and Monty are now given the task to try and save Solar from the hands of Nexus before it's too late.
