Translating the Nomai language is proving to be a challenge, especially for a group of idiots who've never heard of gender. Meanwhile, the hatchlings outside play an ever-growing game, and it seems Chert's been sucked into the black hole of chaos. Can Hal keep cool, keep their stomach, and keep their wits about them as they push forward in the name of linguistics?
