The end of Episode 7 is beautiful and awful and right for the story, but when I wiped away my tears I still wanted to see the dynamics of a thousand-year-old vampire and a crazy kid. So here's what might have been. Other than the obvious, it cleaves pretty close to canon, so anything more is on hold until the finale drops and I can process it. I have the inklings of what might be an actual plot arc, but we'll see.
