As he rounded the corner, he jumped in surprise. Sitting on the steps was a young man, probably another student, as he looked about Dean’s age, with dark curled hair and those black square glasses that hipster-types wore. He was wearing jeans and a loose blue t-shirt, elbows on his knees and chin in his hands. He was sitting right in Dean’s way.

When the shirt fell into place, Castiel’s eyes widened and he looked away quickly, at the ground, cheeks pink and mouth open. “Uhm.” Now it was his turn to clear his throat. “Are you 21?” he asked.
Dean’s first reaction was confusion; Did he mean 18? But then he remembered the actual conversation at hand, not the unspoken one.

Dean opened his eyes and slowly sat up, meeting Cas’ eyes. There was this feeling inside him, this indescribable emotion, somehow happy and sad at the same time, that clawed at his chest and tightened his throat and he felt like he was about to burst because of it.

Summary
Being alone isn't something new to Tony Stark - it's been a major life theme, really. But there'd always been someone, even if he'd taken them for granted before losing them. There'd always been someone, or in the past several years there'd always been JARVIS. Then Ultron happened and J was... it was Tony's fault, he knew that. Rhodey is with the Avengers who are not with Tony, and he and Pepper have been over longer than anyone else knew, and he was alone. Alone and stuck like never before, drifting through the tower he'd wanted to make a home.
When Steve comes back - in a very unexpected, dramatic fashion - Tony thinks it might be nice to not be alone for just a little while. But Steve's not himself, and no one else on his former team wants to admit it, which is... it's fine. He can handle this without them. Because it's definitely Steve Rogers in his home, looking all small and adorable, stirring up all kinds of feelings that Tony can totally handle by ignoring them altogether. It's only Steven Grant Rogers, dammit, even if Steve doesn't think so and... wait.
Multiverse. Right.
God, he doesn't have the energy for this.

Summary
The machine in front of him was truly a disgusting perversion of iron, a beast of metal, made completely in a factory, as if without any influence from a human mind. His own machine had never been beautiful, he had no illusions about that but this, this thing, just looked so very wrong and artificial. It had not been made by a man that longed to flee the world and be reunited by the only thing he had loved, it had not been designed to explore and discover unknown territory inside a human mind, it was designed by a corporation to link minds together for a purpose that Ruvik highly doubted was noble or pure.
Despite all of the feelings he experienced, he could not shake one simple, clear thought. Why was he here, at all? This machine had been completed, it was working right now, as he could see people connected to it. From the looks on the monitors he could see, the vital signs were normal, no one was seemingly unable to be woken up at a moments notice. Something had to be wrong though, he would not have been taken from his home if everything was going according to plan. So what was it? What was wrong? What, to quote Sebastian, had they ‘fucked up’ this time?

Summary
General Dreykov quickly realized the opportunity before him: a mutant, a prisoner of HYDRA, capable of being molded into one of its lethal Black Widows. He didn't hesitate. With calculated determination, he forged an alliance between the two organizations, a dark pact that wouldn't be dissolved in the passing of a night.
Thus, between precise blows, silent needles, tainted secrets, and tense glances with the one who would train her to become an impeccable weapon, Nerea chose to silence the voice that, from the depths of her mind, demanded absolute submission to the high command. She preferred to resist. She preferred to burn before the Winter Soldier.
However, Hell doesn't let its inhabitants escape without claiming its tribute. HYDRA never forgets those upon whom it has poured its poison. The shackles of the past are invisible, but inexorable. The damnation persists, the blood continues to demand its price, and history continues to wonder if those created to destroy can ever aspire to anything else.

Bookmarker's Notes
This trilogy has such a warm fuzzy feeling to it! It reminds me of the sort of stories I would have read growing up. I especially appreciate how kind all the characters are to one another, especially Gabriel. The decision to make Gabriel a warm older brother figure is just delightful! I also love the budding relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley and their very sweet epilogue
