Quand la voiture le percute de plein fouet, Viktor se dit que ce n'est peut-être pas si mal. Après tout, quel sens avait sa vie, s'il ne parvenait plus à dessiner ? Parfois, les coups de pouce du destin se dessinaient dans la carrosserie rouge d'une voiture de sport. En tout cas, c'était ce qu'il voulait croire.
Mais il y avait des gens qui luttaient contre le destin, corps et âme. Les soignants. Ceux qui, malgré tous vos efforts pour rester au plus bas, s'astreignaient à vous tirer vers le haut. Ils agacent Viktor, avec leurs discours si optimistes qu'ils en deviennent absurdes. Mais l'un d'eux est différent.
Viktor se laisse le temps de décider. Il ne sait pas encore si Jayce Talis est le pire ou le meilleur infirmier qu'il ait rencontré.L'histoire le lui dira.
