I never thought I'd actively like a LOV-centric story but OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
everything is explained so well and their descent into vigilantism is perfect
the characters are written so nicely because they're still the same villains as in the show but I actually LIKE them

Izuku looks up from his own notebooks (that Shouto might have taken inspiration from) to look at Shouto, eyes wide like they almost always are. “Yes, Shou-chan?” The other replies, and Shouto feels a wave of affection wash over him at the nickname - a sudden want to take Izuku away and make sure that no one can ever hurt him. It’s not an unusual feeling. Shouto seems to feel that sort of emotions around his closest friends a lot nowadays.
“Date me.”
Izuku blinks. “I- What?”
…Maybe Shouto should have phrased that better.
