Summary
When he heard the noise at the window, at first Achilles did not pay attention to it. The trees in the tree in front of his room tended to end up against the window on windy days. As a child it gave him nightmares, convinced that there was some monster out there that was ready to take him.
Now he didn't even pay attention to it anymore. It was only when the noises became more persistent, as if there was someone using insane Morse code, that Achilles decided to open up and go see what the hell was going on.
"Patroclus? What the hell are you doing?"

“I would never.” Patroclus smiled, stroking at the edge of Achilles’s mouth to upturn it. “If mortals were wise, they would worship these here,” he said, reaching for one of Achilles’s hands to take in both of his, feeling the warmth radiating from his palm. “They know that these can handle a spear, but did they ever take a moment to ponder how beautifully you pluck the strings of a lyre? How artfully these fingers can play the sweetest melody?” Said fingers were sticky with sugar, but no matter. Patroclus brought the hand up to his own mouth, grazing his lips across Achilles’s knuckles as he spoke. “If I were a mortal, I would worship on my knees for these hands.”

Summary
No man can touch Achilles in battle. He is not invulnerable, but his speed and skill are unmatched, and so no one has ever harmed him. Pain is — or rather, was — a foreign concept to him. Something about the sensation, so overwhelming and unfamiliar, strangely incites desire in Achilles. Only Patroclus is permitted to touch him like this, to hurt and to please in equal measure.
Patroclus holds Achilles in place easily because Achilles allows him. The pain grounds and calms him like nothing else can, his scalp burning in Patroclus’ hold. Achilles gasps sharply, arching his back to test his beloved’s grip, which only tightens when he struggles. Patroclus’ other hand, the one not in his hair, releases his hip and moves away. Although he considers trying Patroclus further, testing the bounds of his patience and his firm hold, Achilles waits breathlessly.
A moment of respite and pleasure on the Trojan shores.
