They had been riding day and night to reach wherever his father had deemed safest. The Sully family finally started seeing villages after a few hard nights, for a moment Neteyam was worried his father had no sense of where they were headed or what they were even looking for, but he was proved wrong when he laid his eyes on the sea. The sea is crystal, the sky was clear. You could almost think you were dreaming.

As the final chords of What It Sounds Like faded away, the three heroines looked down upon the cheering crowd with bright smiles. Now, floating in the air, the three of them were triumphant. Rumi watched the remaining demons phase below the surface of the earth, and into the magic weave, as they descended from the sky.
Her feet never touched the ground.
Rumi felt as if an invisible hand was dragging her against the surface of a kitchen stove, scorching every inch of her body. Her patterns in particular seared in agony, each line pulsing angrily like a heartbeat. Rumi’s vision flashed white beneath her eyelids, her hands clenched even tighter around the two girls that fell with her, and her throat throbbed with unspoken sobs.
Even through her tears, Rumi could tell that wherever they were falling, it definitely was not on earth. The mountainous land below was devoid of civilization, covered in a deep blue tint, and shrouded in fog. More importantly, the sky above them was blank. No sun, no moon, and no stars. Just an empty deep blue that seemingly stretched on for an eternity.

He shouldn’t be this frustrated, but it’s… shit, it’s kind of embarrassing, okay? Like, c’mon, what are the odds there’d be two guys on the night show at the station named some variation of Spencer who he had banter with?

En definitiva no era algo malo, si algo, WooYoung era sumamente feliz y emocionado por esto, por cargar con el bebé de su Alfa en su vientre, pero, a su vez, el pasado lo hacía llenarse de dudas y miedo.
Como si fuera poco, personas de ese mismo pasado que deseó no volver a ver jamás aparecieron, lo cual ensombresía lo que debería ser una experiencia de unión con su bebé y Alfa.
