They're agony on his own. Then he discovers that seeking a no-strings partner for the heat is commonplace in koopa society. So maybe he doesn't have to suffer alone after all. There are even reputable agencies who'll help find koopas suitable partners. Maybe this is a really bad idea. What if his body isn't accepted? If this world was anything like the one they'd left, could he even be sure he'd be allowed to peacefully exist if word got out? True, the agency swore not to part with his personal information, but...Luigi was scared. Terrified. But also, he really needed this. Maybe he should take a chance.

Wufei's posture somehow becomes even more correct. "Reports say it was just him."
"Gather my generals," Heero tells him. "If I have to send a thousand to capture him, I will. And I do mean capture, Wufei. I want him alive."
Bowing, Wufei says, "Of course, Your Majesty."
Heero is going to make that barbarian regret ever raising a hand against Heero's troops.
When the captured Shinigami is revealed to be an omega, all of Heero's plans change.

Yes, a main plot-point is Izuku cheating on Ochako, but this story is so much more than just that. In 431, we're left without Izuku's internal monologue, sitting on the outside looking in. It felt, in some moments, almost as if Katsuki was the one telling the story now. In this fic, I dive deep into his POV, showcasing how he sees things. Beginning with the Epilogue (431) as a Prologue here, we take a journey into a possible "what-if" of scenarios that could've happened, staying as true to the characters as possible. Nonetheless, Izuku *does* cheat on Ochako, so if that isn't your jam, this may not be for you.
P.S; "Scorpio Rising" by Soccer Mommy is part of the fic title inspo.
Although... if you know anything about scorpio rising in astrology, the fic may make more sense. Not required knowledge though, promise!THERE'S A HAPPY ENDING FOR EVERYONE. EVEN OCHAKO. I SWEAR !!!
