Several survivors have already escaped when she starts to look for him. She’d helped with the generators and done her due diligence in not dooming her peers to her fate. They didn’t deserve to pay for her madness so she refuses to drag them down. No one asks why she doesn’t come with them as the escape hatch opens. She chalks it up to being forever forgettable. Inside the houses here, she lurks. Looks around through doorways for the man that pulls her out of her destined orbit. Towards danger, she shifts when she hears heavy footfall a room over. Crossing through the decrepit doorway, he’s in the heart of the room. Standing at full height, he towers over her. Forms a beacon of stalwart stillness as she moves closer. Dolores doesn’t know how much time they have but promises herself she won’t waste it.
“I missed you,” is how she begins. She’s admitting it to herself first as she speaks. Fights through the suffocating feeling of longing that makes her throat feel strange when he’s in full focus.

There is no space for her to be something precious anymore, but she can’t deny the way she was coded. Genetically groomed for something softer. Through the Trials, the space inside her heart secluded for her most kind thoughts shrinks. It’s not until she notices what he’s doing that a part of her freezes, finally stops stock still in her center.
She has the first inkling when he lets her free three different times. The Shape isn’t clumsy, she’s learned this. He is calculated and brutally particular, she’s watched him dispatch more comrades than she cares to count. But he had been so careful about taking such slow steps towards the hook. And when she struggled, screamed openly to tear herself away, he stopped. Watched her through the eyelets of his mask. Nothing about him shifted, and for a moment, her hyperventilated panting turned to the inability to breathe. He waited for her to free herself, even let her run, terrified, past him and out of the door. She only remembers the slow, paced swivel of his head.
That was the first time the Entity killed her.

My own take on the lore within the realm of the Entity, I'll try to be as accurate and faithful to the archives and backstories, but will take some liberties about what is happening.
This is mostly for fun and an attemp to explore the characterization of Trapper.
