Summary
In the immediate aftermath of the bloody banquet, the Warrior of Light, his sister, and what remains of the Scions flee to Coerthas, offered refuge by Lord Haurchefant Greystone. The Scions have been branded as traitors and accused of regicide, framed by the Syndicate in a last-ditch grasp for total power. For the time being, at least, they have nowhere to go.
Amidst the falling snow and impossible guilt, Bram and Haurchefant navigate a blossoming friendship built on the struggle of feeling like outsiders in their own homes. Given time, it may become something even greater, as Haurchefant makes no secret of his affections towards Eorzea's lauded hero.
