Summary
I researched ninjago recently and I thought how good it could've been if it was aimed at like teens or something. So here it is the lego ninjago we started watching as kids but with more trauma if it was even possible. The plot will stay relatively canon complient with a few tweaks and small changes. I hope to rewrite it all the way from season 1 of masters of spinjitzu all the way to season 2 of dragons rising. There will be a lot more tags added as I continue writing btw. Also I'm really bad at writing summaries if you couldn't tell.

What's going on guys, and welcome to my Ninjago war with canon series! For those who are new, I'm a big Ninjago fan who is very not happy with how the Character's trauma keeps getting overlooked and shoved to the side. Also, canon characterization is a mess, because Kai, Lloyd, and Jay have got to have at least 10 personalities each by this point. Either way, I'm here to fix that, and my solution was to write a series of six rewrites, one for each main ninja's POV.
If you couldn't tell from the title, this book is about Lloyd! While this is book three in the overall series, you definitely don't have to read the others in order to read this one, just pick the character you like the most and start reading!

Arin had always known that Earth wasn’t the only planet with sentient species. Nobody ever believed him, of course, but he knew it – without a shadow of a doubt. His parents, eager to foster a home where his curiosity could thrive, got him hundreds of books on the universe, deep space, and planets. When he got a little older, they started showing him all those old space movies – Star Trek, Star Wars, and even the Alien movies. As he grew up, Arin’s faith that humans weren’t the only ones in the Universe continued to grow with him.
At the ripe age of 20, Arin knew that he was right. But the aliens of intergalactic space were not kind.
His parents learned that the hard way.
When Arin was sixteen, his parents were selected as part of the first ever rocket mission into intergalactic space – the Talaria Mission. They, along with six other participants, were equipped with food to last them hundreds of years, space suits, and a two way radio to talk back with Control. Exactly a month after the launch, Talaria went radio silent. The ship and the people on board were never found.
Four years later, Arin graduated from the Space Force Academy. He was going to find his parents, no matter the cost.

In which Kai takes Lloyd’s place during the merge as master of the monastery. And Lloyd… well he ends up somewhere… else
Set after Thunderfang’s defeat in S3P1, the Ninja settle back into the monastery having just recovered Jay but lost Arin and Sora to Ras. When setting out to find Arin’s parents, the ninja discover that the Administration’s portal system has been hijacked the whole time.
