Summary
The ninja team has been sent by Misako to investigate something dangerous that's been haunting a nearby forest. Lloyd worries for the safety of his team. They've all been through so much. Cole's been a ghost, Nya's been the entire ocean, Zane's been an icy tyrant. But what about the two members of the ninja team who have been untouched by fate so far? Kai and Jay.
Cole worries for Kai the most, and of course what they're going up against just so happens to be the one thing Kai seems to have some sort of foundational fear of. Vampires.
Cole just hopes his feelings for Kai won't get in the way either...

It is not typical for someone to transfer into a new school during their junior year of high school; everything was already rooted down in the two years prior, so what can this cause other than more problems for teens? Cole has already made a name for himself at his high school, and paired with his friend group, he is very happy with his life at the moment. So, how does meeting the "new kid" affect him? But how will Cole manage balancing his school work along with the things in life he loves? Will he even get what he wants, or will he be the one suck watching from the bleachers, despite being the captain of the Varisty soccer team?

Kai already hates school, especially English. He only really focuses on volleyball and his family, until failing English almost causes him to lose the one constant in his life. He puts on a brave face while struggling with everything, but it all comes crashing down in the (best) worst way possible. He just wants a hug tbh. Despite everything crashing down around him, he finally gets the role he wants on the team. Doing his best to keep it, he does everything he can to fight for it, even when it means exposing his past.

Set sometime after Dragons Rising season 2 part 2, Kai and Cole have talked about their relationship status, and now Kai Cole and Geo are all in a polyamorus relationship. Kai has been visiting the Finders very often, even staying the night with them multiple times. But Kai realizes that he wants to stay with the Finders, but he isn't sure if Geo wants to as well.

Every month, the Ninjago Fandom Wiki runs a Writing Contest based on a simple prompt. Since June of 2024, I've participated multiple times, and even when I haven't officially written or entered, I've at least come up with some idea or another.
This is a collection of those contest entries. Many of them are one-shots, some slightly longer, but mostly just little vignettes that could easily fit within Ninjago's canon. The night was calm, quiet. Everyone in the monastery asleep besides one.
The white ninja had shot awake with a shuddered gasp as the last of his dream faded from his vision. He surveyed the room, eyes landing on each of the ninja sleeping peacefully. He envied how peaceful they all looked, while he was sitting awake in his bed, shaking.
Tears welled in his eyes as the lump in his throat grew. He stood up, padding to the door and shutting it behind him as quietly as he could. Stumbling down the hall, he came to the doors and walked out into the cool night air, inhaling deeply despite his lack of need for air. He walked towards the center of the courtyard, sitting cross legged on the ground. His breathing hitched as he fought for composure, tears pricking the corners of his eyes as his vision blurred. It was just a dream, wasn’t it?
OR Zane has a nightmare and Cole finds him in the courtyard and comforts him. (Very fruity)
