A soft spoken voice came behind me, I looked at the frailly weaves, tumbled, jumbled, and knotted together in a sorry attempt to make a woven basket, I looked at the owner of the voice and saw a tired but delicate face in front of me, with such fair hair that slid down her back and curved over her shoulders it gave an angelic resemblance. My mother… She looked at me with a sort of tenderness only a mother could give, nothing else could mimic, something that told me ‘it was going to be okay.’ I huffed and looked away in embarrassment, she always said the same thing with that same phrase whenever I messed something up. I never understood what It meant.
OR I'm posting an essay I did for school set in medieval Europe about a man who tries to keep his family and himself alive as the black plague spreads to everything they know and love.

“Okay, well, lets test those kicks kid.” Techno stepped forward. More near the mat now.
“Its Tommy… Bitch!” Tommy retorted, earning yet another snort from the pink.
“Alright, lets test those kicks… 𝑰𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒔.” Techno stated, stretching and stepping onto the mat. Tommy in the back of his head regretted his boldness.
“Dont underestimate me 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆, I’ve been training. Im gonna kick your ass!” Tommy shook off his regrets, focusing on the moment. He started punching the air whilst also stepping onto the mat. Techno scoffed at that.
“Oh really? Okay, If you somehow beat me” Tommy smiled mischievelousy, “Ill invite you to a bowl of Ramen.” Techno got in postion.
Tommy gaped at what he heard, eyes wide, but in excitement not fear. (Okay maybe a little fear) Lunch with Techno? The 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆?! 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆! His idol, literally somebody he dreams to be! He could barely even render what he was hearing!
Tommy laughed.
“I hope you have money in your pockets 𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆, cause I will win.” Tommy snickered. Techno narrowed his eyes and snickered.
