“No post on Sundays” Uncle Vernon announced happily, “No damn letters today-”
Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
“That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
Harry didn't like the sound of that.
“But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

Summary
The first time her leg brushes up against his, underneath the kitchen table where Order meetings are held, Remus thinks it’s an accident. He thinks she lingers, but perhaps it’s all in his mind: after all, he’s been harboring feelings for the witch for weeks, and a tiny, well-hidden part of him hopes she returns his sentiments.
Several weeks pass since the first incident, and Tonks’s foot has reached his knee.
She never says a word about it, before or after the meetings, but Remus knows she’s onto him. He’s baffled by her brashness and half-convinced he’s imagining it. He’s thinks he must be lost in another daydream, in which it isn’t her foot on his thigh, but her hands, and they’re creeping up, up, up—

On the verge of death, Harry Potter is found by the symbiote named Venom and a bond is formed which saves them both. In exchange for being his host, Venom agrees to remove a problem in young Harry's life which leads to a new life... the life he should have had with family that had been waiting for him. Together they create a path to a future that Dumbledore was never expecting or likes... but frankly Harry and Venom could care less.
