Summary
V1 was a machine without a past and heading into nothingness, not the future. The angel's presence, a sweet and exciting memory still in his hard disk, brought him closer to freedom. His holy light, coloring V1's exterior divine, addicted V1 to love. When even his scoring systems assumed Gabriel's soft giggles the greatest of victories, how could he ever want to live without Gabriel?
A slaughterer machine learning how to love, and a fallen angel learning how to live as but a shadow of his former self. One had infinity ahead of him, and the other had long since lived past that. Young and old, strong and sacred.
