    This Aziracrow fic set in a colony on an alien planet presents such a creative backdrop for the growth of their relationship. So happy the author agreed to join my Unusual Setting (Good Omens) collection.

    The setting also provides an opportunity to explore what it would be like for Crowley to transfer from a space station to the stronger gravity of a planet. His adjustment feels completely medically accurate. So fascinating!

    Throw in some intrigue about the possibly dodgy company they all work for and you’ve got the makings of a fantastic fic 👏🏻 Highly recommend 🤩⭐️

    The author’s other fics Lunacy, Tribute, Echo, and Abyssal are also in this universe. They can be read in any order. Check them out too! The world building is intricate and rich so there are lots of stories to tell.

    The incomparable Enderhuntress has started posting the story created for me for Fandom Trumps Hate 2025. It is amazing! 👏🏻🥹😭❤️‍🔥😏❤️🤩

    Sparks fly from the moment Aziracrow meet, but they start out as rival professors forced together by the joint course they have to create. Will they move beyond the enmity to see how perfect they are for each other? (Come on, we know the answer to that!) 😉😆

    One thing that sets this fic apart is the number of intense philosophical discussions Aziracrow have as they grow their relationship and pine. So many different topics, and all fully are realized debates. So fascinating! And the positions they take make so much sense for each. Enderhuntress knows so much about both the characters and the topics and it shows👏🏻

    Enderhuntress was an absolute dream to work with 🥰 I’m so grateful we bonded so well and I felt encouraged to contribute a detailed prompt and extensive world-building, and then Enderhuntress took it and ran with it and made it a million times better than I ever could 🤩👏🏻

    Combines some of my favorite tropes: Professor Aziracrow, Enemies to Lovers, Frenemies with Benefits, Bickerflirting, The Wall Slam (tm), The Good Omens Ensemble, Beardziraphale, Getting Together and Happy Ending.

    All with just enough angst to make it interesting (I was literally crying at the climax 😭) and a long enough story to give the ideas time to breathe. It actually is way above the minimum length promised in the auction, so the story flows naturally. I’m so grateful Enderhuntress was so dedicated to this idea and decided to write more, making it the best fic it could possibly be.

    Such an incredible fic! A wonderful gift not just for me but for the whole fandom 👏🏻🥰❤️

    Fandom Trumps Hate is a worthy organization that puts together a multi-fandom auction each year to raise money for charity. Our fic supports the Transgender Law Center, a trans-led nonprofit that fights for the rights of the trans community in America. They advocate for the self-determination of all people, in court and also through resources and information that they offer both online and in in-person groups across the country. I encourage you to check them out!

    The story includes a transmasc Crowley, which I feel is an excellent nod to canon in a human AU. Thank you to Enderhuntress for doing so much research on the topic and lining up a transmasc beta to ensure we have authentic positive representation, which I feel is so important in this fandom especially. There is zero transphobia in this work. Mostly though, his transmasc identity is just a small part of the complicated character that is Professor Crowley, so it works beautifully 👏🏻😃

    Another popular one in case you missed it.

    This is Good Omens human AU with the “Fake Relationship While Secretly In Love” trope that I can’t get enough of, done in a fresh new way.

    I starts right in the middle of the action and doesn’t let go. I read (and reread) it a while ago, and when I went back to refresh my memory I accidentally read three chapters before I even realized it. It really is that good.

    I also like that Crowley is ace. That aspect is partly what sets the trope in motion. It was neat to see how his particular flavor of ace wove through the story.

    The dialogue is brilliant too. Distinct for each, without going so far it becomes parody.

    The author also makes good use of the Discord work skin. Gives it an authentic feel.

    The way this story examines the tension when a parasocial relationship becomes real (partly because Aziraphale tamps down his natural gushing reactions) is fascinating.

    Blends characters from season one (Anathema and Newt) with characters from season two (Maggie and Nina) in such a natural way that I hope we see something like that in season three.

    Don’t miss this fic from one of the best authors this fandom has ever had.

    Just recommended this in a chat on Bluesky where we got to talking about how Crowley’s wonder at creation in Before The Beginning makes him a natural astrophysics professor. They asked for recs and I immediately thought of this one.

    Here’s what I said there:

    “Oversharer Dr. Fell constantly goes on about his husband Anthony. Students don’t know it’s taciturn Dr. AJ Crowley, who wears his wedding ring around his neck on a chain under his shirt. Students catch them making out and think Crowley is taking beloved Professor Fell away from his husband, not knowing he IS his husband. Pepper and Adam are TAs who don’t know whether to clear up the misunderstanding or see how long they can keep it going 😂”

    Now that I’ve reminded myself of this one I’ve got to read it again. So funny but deeply romantic too. Their connection shines through in every universe 🥰

    I like the relationship they both have with their respective TAs too, particularly Adam’s with Crowley. Adam is protective of the prickly professor partly because can see the softie beneath, particularly when in comes to his beloved husband Aziraphale.

    Now I definitely have to read it again right now 😃

    The best part of fics for me is diving into other communities, and I learned so much from this fic.

    This takes place mostly in a nail salon, which I’ve never seen before for an Aziracrow fic.

    It makes sense to me that the antiseptic nature of the place could bring up bad memories for Crowley. And the author conveys the overwhelm of an autistic episode and the need to communicate via sign language so well.

    It really combines so many aspects in a coherent whole that flows so beautifully. Highly recommend.

    The author might add more chapters (which would be lovely) but it works as a oneshot too.
