Summary
Michael had no intention of being gone from heaven for long. He just needed to see, to see humanity so he could understand his father, understand Lucifer’s exile and the eventual apocalypse. So he could understand why his father would tear their family apart for such a flawed creation.
Michael had no flaws, maybe that was why God left. If angels were perfect what need would they have for guidance? Michael just wanted to understand. He was here to understand.
