'Ed straightens up and runs a hand down the cool teal enamel of Stede’s front, allowing his fingers to trace the raised metal letters - ‘S-T-E-D-E’. He can feel Stede vibrating beneath his touch, just a slight increase in movement from its usual soft tremor. Ed watches as the letter magnets slowly rearrange themselves.
