Clang! Clang! Clang!
A hammer strikes metal, sending sparks flying into the air and reflecting in the whites of Alexie’s eyes. His body moves on instinct, beating the thin metal sheets and rods into shape as though his hands were made to give the raw elements new life.
Though his body knew the movements of the present, his mind was anywhere but the workstation he hunched over. For surely his grief would overwhelm him if he thought about the task he had been given for even two seconds longer. Every so often, his fingers would slip and burn on the heated metal he worked with; he never makes any indication that it hurts, if he even feels it at all.
~~~
Alexie and Innessa Novikov were always supposed to have each other's backs, but their parents had a different plan in mind.
Summary
It had never mattered what Chan did, how much effort he put in for them; he could do whatever they told him to, and they'd still look at him like he was trash. And wasn't he? He had always tried so hard to make people happy, but he could never seem to please his alphas. How pathetic was that?
He was supposed to be able to make the alphas in his life happy. But something had gone wrong in his programming, and somehow or another, all he could do was make the alphas he was interested in absolutely fucking hate him.
Why the hell would he go back outside and try again?After yet another rough breakup from a rocky relationship, Chan has finally decided he's had enough. If he's destined to be the one omega on Earth who can't make an alpha like him, fine. He'll just be single forever. He's not going to go through this again.
When his friends introduce him to their pretty alpha friend Hyunjin, though... maybe he has it in him to give it one last chance. Just maybe.-
OR: The omegaverse au I told myself I was never gonna write but Here We Fucking Are. I was infected by the need to see him pregnant /j
Summary
San was born a part of a small family hiding deep in the forest, living there for several years. He was not planned, even though his mother was overjoyed when she held him for the first time. Especially after she sensed his scent, the scent of an alpha. For a long time, San was raised as an alpha, trained by his father, urged by his mother to help where he could because he had to be strong for his family and their small pack.
When San turned sixteen, everything changed. He awoke with a fever, a fire sweeping through his veins.
What at first felt like he had to perish later turned out to be his first heat. San's parents were devastated. Hiding a few omegas was hard enough, but now their own son was in danger.
His father trained him even harder than before, making sure San could defend himself when they came for him.And come they did.
And San wasn't strong enough.
