“Definitely a lie,” Kokichi says, ready to have a back-and-forth with Saihara about whether or not he’s lying again, but then Akamatsu, evil witch that she is, effectively steals Saihara’s attention with a whisper of, “Pay attention, you two!”
“Sorry,” Saihara whispers back immediately, and Kokichi slides back down his seat again, frowning.
There goes his distraction for the day. He glances at the clock on the wall and groans again when he sees that class doesn’t end for another two hours, god, can somebody just kill him already.
He shifts in his seat, and the movement makes the pocket knife he’s managed to slip past security every single day now (and, seriously, what’s the point in having security at a school like Hope’s Peak? Harukawa has a room full of military-grade weapons just upstairs, for god’s sake) slip partway out of his pocket.
And, ohhh, here’s something he can do!
