Summary

Bucky, on the other hand, was lucky if he scored an extra twenty to pick up a pepperoni pizza on the weekend. Loud, crazy, and out and proud, Bucky happily spent his days doing handstands in the hallway, swimming at the Brooklyn YMCA, and getting blazed with his best friend Clint.

A future where you were safe and loved and happy. For that one, precious, fleeting moment, you foolishly believed.
And all it took was one well-placed snap to bring you crashing back to reality.
Crushed by your grief and desperate to do anything to keep your malfunctioning powers in check, you bury yourself in debauchery and decadence across the cosmos. But there is nowhere you can go to escape this pain or the strange darkness that keeps calling your name.
How do you move on when all you’re left with is ashes? How many times can a person break before there is nothing left? And who—or what—will you be when you finally hit rock bottom?[This work is technically a sequel to my fic, Only For A Moment, but this can be read independently.]
