Summary
Souls weren't meant to be left alone, so they split, always looking for their other half.
No matter how long it took, the moment a soul existed, it sought the one that would complete it.
The main indication is, when one of the halves of the soul turns seven years old, an identical mark appears on both parts.
Along with that comes a set of unique abilities that soulmates can only use with each other—for protection, for finding each other.
Soulmates would never be alone.“Hello?” he called softly, trying not to sound scary. The other child turned to him with teary eyes. It was a boy, tears streaming down his swollen, red cheeks. His eyes were so blue Andrew had to wonder if that shade of blue really existed. The boy sniffed a little before answering.
“Hi?” He wiped his eyes with his sleeve, Andrew stared at him for a while. He was dreaming, right? He had gone to bed, he was sure he had. The other boy was also staring at him, the tears slowly stopping. He tilted his head, sniffled, and spoke again. “Who are you?”
“Andrew.” He frowned. “You?”
“Nathaniel.” -

“Andrew, Andrew.” Neil whispered in his ear, the warm air against his skin making him shiver. “It's time for our nebula.”

Neil then asked what a nebula was and he replied: Nebulae were nurseries for stars.

Summary
All he could think about, all he could see were those blue eyes — so so familiar, so painfully real and not a hallucination, Andrew wasn't dreaming this time — but no recognition, not even that mischievous glare when Neil decided to make it his life's goal to annoy him.
He doesn't know who I am
Andrew knew a lie when he saw one and especially when it was Neil lying. And he wasn't, it was the truth.

Summary
Andrew could practically see the image of Neil sleeping on his chest, one of the pairs of shoes he'd bought still lying there in bed with them. Neil looked so peaceful, Andrew couldn't stop looking at him. His hand was right on Neil's belly, he could almost imagine what the girls' heartbeats were like there.
Neil had sung a song that night, and Andrew memorized every note because, someday, he would also sing that same song for Neil and his daughters.
be more wanted, they've probably never wanted anything more in their life.
“You won't touch any of them again.” Andrew said. His voice was low and his throat hurt. “You're not getting anywhere near my fucking family.”Series

Summary
He found a thick pad of gauze so he tore it open with his teeth and carefully situated it around the wood, Buck crying out weakly as Eddie put pressure.
"I know, I'm so sorry baby, I'm so sorry," Eddie whispered brokenly, holding the gauze tightly.
"I like that," Buck breathed, eyes roaming a bit listlessly as he grew dizzy. "Like you callin' m' baby."
Eddie swallowed back a sob, shaking his head. "I'll call you baby for the rest of our lives, so you better stay with me, you understand Evan Buckley? We're supposed to have time, I'm supposed- we- I was going to do this right, you deserve the best, I was trying to be the best for you, I needed time," he whispered, Buck smiling faintly.
Or
Eddie kept putting off telling Buck he loved him. He wanted to be worthy of Buck's love first. But when they get caught in a collapsed building with Buck bleeding out and Eddie with a broken wrist, Eddie's finding that time might have just run out.

Summary
Eddie puts his bottle down and leans back in his chair. It’s not that he doesn’t want to hear what Buck and Tommy are doing for their second anniversary. It’s just, well, he doesn’t really want to hear what Buck and Tommy are doing for their second anniversary.
;OR;
Eddie has been in love with Buck for years. Unfortunately, in 2024, instead of breaking up with Buck, Tommy agreed to move in with him. By the time they got married in the summer of 2026, Eddie was fully aware of the way he felt about Buck. The thing is, he thought Buck was happy with Tommy, so he didn't say anything. It's been 2 years since Buck and Tommy got married, and Eddie is still hopelessly in love and resigned to spending the rest of his life alone. It's fine. Buck is still his best friend. He doesn't need more than that. Really.

Summary
“So, what does it feel like? When you, you know, feed?”
Eddie should’ve lied. Should’ve said something simple—clinical, boring. But Buck’s eyes were on him, baby blues soft around the edges, and Eddie’s restraint had never survived those eyes for long.
Damn him.
“It’s not what you think,” he said finally. “We do drink to satiate our hunger or quench our thirst, whatever—but a live feeding is something that’s… intimate. It’s all about connection. You can feel someone’s heartbeat through your own. Taste everything they are—their emotions, their diet, their lifestyle. It’s electric. Overwhelming, sometimes.”
Buck’s lips parted. “That sounds—”
“Too much?” Eddie supplied.
“Kind of amazing, actually. I wonder what I taste like.”
That earned him a huff of a laugh. Eddie looked away, because if he didn’t, he’d start imagining things he shouldn’t. Like what Buck’s skin would taste like, what his pulse would sound like up close.
Eddie came out to Buck as a vampire. Of course, Buck started asking him the most important questions.

Summary
Once Buck disappeared down the hall, Eddie looked at Chris with exaggerated offense. “I save your Buck’s life and all I get is ‘cool’?”
Chris didn’t even look up. “You want a medal or something? You were just doing your job.”
Eddie snorted. “Wow. No love for your heroic father, huh?”
Chris finally looked up, grinning. “Hey, I’m impressed. But you shouldn't act like you did what you did for me. I bet you didn't even think about me when you saw him in danger.”
“I always think about you.” Eddie defended himself.
“You shouldn't.” Chris got up from the couch. “You shouldn't always think about me.” He repeated, softer now.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
Chris gave a little shrug. “I know you always say everything you do is for me. And, yeah, I get it. I’m your kid. I’m important.” He paused. “But sometimes it feels like you use me as an excuse not to deal with your own stuff."
or
After Eddie brags about saving Buck's life, Chris knocks some sense into his dad, Eddie comes out to the 118, and another near-death experince forces Eddie to confess. Then they kiss.

Summary
As Eddie leaves the kitchen, at the end of the kitchen fight in 8x17, after saying "I don't know, Buck. I wasn't there." instead of letting Eddie leave, Buck says "you're here now." Things snowball from there.
___________________
“What fucking difference does it make, Buck, hmm?” Eddie asks, and grabs a fistful of Buck’s rust-colored zip pullover, yanks him closer, even closer than they’d been with his finger in Buck’s face. His fist at Buck's chest is not tender, no, nor does his touch feel filled with care. This is desperation.
And it stirs something desperate in Buck, too–not just the fact of Eddie’s hands rough on him; not just the spike in Eddie’s pulse under Buck’s hand, against Eddie’s skin from the inside out; not just in the way Buck’s hand is now pushed up higher, off of Eddie’s shoulder, almost cupping the back of his neck; not just how close they are, the way that he can almost feel the rise and fall of Eddie’s chest with his own–but the way Buck can feel the heat of his own name snapped from Eddie’s mouth, Eddie’s breath against his lips.
What difference does it make?
The difference is, Buck couldn’t kiss Eddie when he was in El Paso.
