J'onn J’onzz’s initial imprisonment by the government lands him a friend in his escape, but his friend sticks to shadows, too afraid to show himself. All Flash knows is the Watchtower is definitely haunted, and he will never understand the Martian culture of leaving food in corners, along walls, or other seemingly random places. He does know J'onn gets mad when he eats it, though.

Summary
After the world forgot him, Peter kept fighting. He was Spider-Man after all. But as the villains get worse and the heroes dwindle, Peter finally grows tired. Hasn't he done his time? He's never once shirked the responsibility forced upon him. Never once has he put himself first.
Eventually, the straw breaks the camel's back. Peter finally hangs up the cape.
Unfortunately the universe seems to disagree. When Peter wakes up in Gotham he knows he should probably find a way home. But what's the point? Normal people don't find their way home across the multiverse, and Peter is normal now. He refuses to be anything else.
So why do unfamiliar heroes keep ending up on his doorstep? And can he really turn them away?

“Way to harsh my vibe, angry cat-man. I’m trying not to have flash-backs, thanks.”Or, Peter Parker wasn’t always Peter Parker. Very few people know that though. His mutation came with a depressingly efficient healing factor. Triggering said healing factor at 14, during an experience that should have left him obliterated, also not fun. Apparently the cells that regenerate so fast that they almost completely cease the aging process run in the family. An eternal 14-year-old in a society that hates mutants? Being experimented on over and over again in an attempt to create a perfect soldier or ‘fix the permanence of death’ for the ‘regular people’. And people call him a monster. Let’s just say the nightmares he has are legendary.
