Summary
It's no secret that Chaos Spiral isn't going anywhere. I was trying to take that story in too many directions at once, and eventually it snapped like an elastic band. My original outline fell to pieces — I barely even remember what it was. More importantly, I had a beginning and an end, but I had only had two isolated events to put between them, and couldn't come up with anything else.
That, and at the point I had reached, the scope of the fic was so large that I'd need at least four other people writing with me—and keeping me on the track of the original plot—in order to finish the fic in any reasonable length of time.
In any case, I am officially labelling Fate/Chaos Spiral a deadfic. And I really don't want to keep going. Don't fret though, there's still some material left for me to post. It just won't have nearly as much emotional value as I wanted it to have.
Please don't ask me to keep writing.

This… this… I… what…
The formula was perfect, and I’ll admit, the mystery was simplified for the brevity of the story, but it was so well executed! Every detail in this story fit into the greater whole. I’ll echo what TSK said as well: Aisha’s method was brilliant. If there’s any criticism I have for this story, it’s that I think that the hat and Aisha both being introduced early in the story made things a little too obvious, but if it were a full-length novel, I’m sure that would be exactly how the narrative would have been played.
The dialect was excellent. That must have been challenging, but Starlit gave Lisa & Taylor a perfect Holmes & Watson dynamic. It really was fantastic.
Armsmaster really does fit the role of Inspector Lestrade. They can both be rude, but are nevertheless consummate professionals.
There were various details, like Inspector Wallis’ arm, and the reference to Taylor’s first days in London mirroring her relationship with Colin in Worm.
Man, now I want to see what ‘Mr. Labourn’ is like in this AU.
Just… wow! Overall, beautifully evocative of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s writing style.

A2 looks up at him and shakes her head. “Yes you fucking can.” She croaks. “Welcome to the fucking club.”
