Why they think, is well, none of them had wings so they thought it was normal for feathers to get everyware. unforchinitly for grian his wooooooonderful partner thinks it is about time for himself to do a little research on his partners. lets gust say scar thinks grian and him will have a nice long chat when grain comes back from his base after hanging out with their dear friend mumbo Jumbo.

Summary
Impulse can’t move, no matter how much he tries. The pain in his head and chest is familiar now - magical withdrawal. Impulse tries to push himself up, but his arms have gone worryingly numb. Something soft is pressed into Impulse’s hand and then someone scoops him up into their arms. The numb is quickly replaced by scorching heat and Impulse has to bite down hard on his lip to keep from screaming. His body gets jostled, fire shoots down his spine and finally Impulse blacks out.
Or, Impulse suffers, but he gets a gift that makes it a little worth it.

His sharp fangs are in full view from the deep snarl on his face
Skizz slowly lowers his hands and tries to inch a bit closer, but he was quickly stopped by a loud warning growl
“Alright, I’ll stay here,” he backs up a step and crouches down, “right here”After a few moments he mutters, “Come back to me,” before quietly adding, “Come on, Dipple dop…”
That small addition is what finally breaks the demon out of his defensive state, his shoulders relax, wings falling to the floor, and his face softens
“Crap, Skizz…” his pupils dilate back to a more normal size, “I’m sorry”In short,
