Eddie is laughing at something Robin had said; head tossed back, smiling wide enough to dimple his cheeks, eyes crinkling at the corners. He’s bracketed by sunlight, looking soft and inviting in the golden rays. His eyeliner is smudged messily at the corners of his eyes, hands clapped together at his sternum, bracelets and rings glittering.
Steve looks at him, and watches, and lets himself drown in Eddie’s radiance and vibrancy and beauty, and thinks-
Oh.
Oh.
I love him.
