Summary
There’s not a lot of space in their apartment, considering Euijoo’s kitchen-slash-lab takes up more than half of the place. It’d taken a while to get used to it, “but it's home,” Nicholas had said once, cheek smushed into Euijoo’s shoulder on their small sofa. “And it's ours.”
Once upon a time, Byun Euijoo saved the magical world. These days, he lives in a dingy one-bedroom apartment with his cat familiar Nicholas and makes weird potions for a living.

Nicholas looks irritated, brow furrowed, lips red and bitten. K is standing over him with a handheld electric fan, blowing cool air onto his face. It looks like he needs it— he’s sweating buckets, hair matted, sweatshirt and pants stripped off, leaving him in just a white tank top sticking to the divots of his torso and grey boxer shorts. His skin is flushed down to his chest.
The room smells overwhelmingly of chocolate. It’s dizzying— rich and dark. And underneath, the comforting smell of baking bread.
