OC Julie Martin has lived a typical life thus far in her small town of Hawkins, Indiana. She's a relatively popular cheerleader with decently wealthy (and moderately absent) parents and a geeky little brother she frequently takes care of.
After losing her friend Heather in the tragic mall fire last summer, Julie is trying to rebuild her life and has done well so far.
